Stephanie Wojciechowicz

Bio

Stephanie is a licensed and registered psychotherapist in the province of Ontario and guidance counsellor in the province of Quebec. In 2021, she completed her Masters in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. She has previously worked in hospital settings and private practice as an independent contractor. Stephanie decided to found Hope Forward Psychotherapy to achieve her lifelong career goal of owning her own private practice that is focused mental health.

Mental health has always been important to Stephanie her whole life as a result of being born with the congenital disability of ectrodactyly. Her life experiences and interactions with others made her realize, the way one talks about themselves affects one’s daily life. This led her to take an interest in how emotions, thoughts and behaviours are intertwined and interconnected in everyday life. Her therapeutic approaches of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), narrative and systemic approaches utilize strategies and interventions that allow for a better understanding of the mind and body as it relates to an individual’s personality, family and social dynamics.
